Ocean Places
People come down to the ocean for work, for play, for relaxation, for contemplation, to cool off, to catch dinner, to find minerals, to compete. This section of the portal will identify those ocean places where human activity occurs. These are places where human kind and the ocean intersect.
NOTE: This section will not duplicate the organizational list that will be found in the Ocean Community tab. For instance, you won't find Scripps Institution of Oceanography on this page, but you will find Scripps Pier, which is on the Scripps campus.
